My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: 4/29/20 Weight: 74 lbs

Lucy was purchased from a breeder and is being surrendered due to not getting along with the other dog in the home. She loves her humans and gets along great with children but needs to be an only pet. She is house and crate trained and very intelligent and affectionate. Due to her history with other dogs, she will not do well in a community setting such as an apartment.

Lucy is smart, sweet, loving, cuddly, protective, because she's half husky, she talks a lot. Whenever she wants to go outside, she picks up a toy and goes to the door. Lucy is active and she enjoys walks and the park.

Lucy is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period.
