My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

YOUR CAT"S NEW BEST FRIEND. Mischief comes in all shapes and sizes, in this case, it comes in a petite little boy who goes by Spicy.

Spicy is not going to be your typical lap cat. This is a friendship that will take some time to bloom. Although he won't lay on you, it isn't above him to give into some distanced couch time with some pets, treats, and toys. So if you're looking to help him come out of his shell, this could be the perfect deal.

But don't be discouraged, while he may not be 100% into your company, he may find comfort in cuddling up to your resident cat. He was previously in a foster home with two other foster cats and found great joy in their company. Spicy can be adopted into a home with another cat.

What Spicy does find delight in is a good old fashioned staring contest. His foster mom has insisted this is Spicy's favorite.

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
