My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is O`Brian.
I love exploring where I live. I love water. Yes, you read that correctly. I love to get in the shower & prefer drinking out of the faucet instead of a fancy bowl. I also like to have my chin & head scratched. I really like staying close to you except when it is time for my nap. Oh, and let me not forget - I love watching cat TV out windows so I can see my squirrel, lizard & bird friends.

My adoption fee of $100 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?

If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

More about this rescue

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
