My story

Hi, I’m Blushing Star, but my friends call me Daisy. Did you know the name Daisy like the flower means purity, new beginnings, joy and cheerfulness? I am all those things wrapped up in a 70 pound package!

I love nature walks and smelling all the new scents everyday. I wake up with the best attitude and happy to start the day. I would LOVE a new beginning in a home. I will bring joy and cheerfulness to you everyday with my love, kisses, and gentle ways I sit and love people.

You see I am a people kind of dog. I LOVE people but I really am not fond of four legged creatures, so I am having a hard time finding a pet free home. I have so much love to give and I would really like to take long walks with my person, play in the yard with squeaky balls to catch, and lounge around in a nice quiet home and shower you with all my love.

I am very enthusiastic so I am too big for small children in a home. I’m a mature girl (6 years) so I already have potty and crate training mastered. I do love food & treats, but I don’t beg and will gently take them from you if offered. Since I am a big girl I will need an experienced dog person for my walks as I may be a little over excited when I see other four legged creatures.

As you can see from my pictures I have a nice mix of breeds in this beautiful body. I have been told I resemble the majestic German Shepherd with my coloring and body style of Black Mouth Cur. Regardless of my breed I am 100% lovable and enjoy sharing time with people. Will you please consider fostering or adopting me?

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application at www.angelsrescue.org/adopt and a member of our Adoption Team will contact you for an interview.

2.
Meet the Pet

Our pets are located in foster homes. Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster family.

3.
Home Check

The foster family will do a brief home visit to ensure that it's a perfect match between family & pet!

4.
Pay Fee

Adoption fees range from $50 - $150 for cats and $150 - $300 for dogs. Specials and discounts may apply.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our team is available for support and referrals post adoption if you need it!

We ask that all pets and family members meet your potential new pet so that everyone can be sure they are the right fit!

Puppies and kittens under 4 months may only be adopted locally. Fully vetted and altered pets may be adopted out of state.
