OMG OMG OMG MY NAME IS CALYPSO AND I WANT TO BE BEST FRIENDS AND PLAY AND HAVE FUN AND HAVE SNACKS AND THEN PLAY MORE!!!!!
Ok, we will take over from here or else Calypso will just tell you all in one sentence in all caps with no punctuation at top speed all about herself. As you might be able to tell, this girl is all about high energy fun and play! Calypso is a bundle of happy energy and is looking for a forever home where she can be a free spirit but also have some fun doing some training (she needs a puppy training class, for sure).
Calypso was born on a Pennsylvania farm where they casually breed for some extra money to sell online and to pet stores. Unfortunately, there is no proper genetic testing or breeding plan in place for their intact dogs so Calypso and one of her sisters in her litter were born with cataracts and could not be sold. Don’t worry…we made sure to have her mom spayed so she won’t produce anymore puppies with genetic conditions.
Calypso has not received the memo that she has very small cataracts, even when the ophthalmologist said it! The only part she heard was that it is not causing her any issues and might never get any worse (not guaranteed-but Calypso doesn’t want to hear that part).
Calypso wants a super fun forever home with another high energy playmate, a big fenced yard (fenced yard is a must) so she can do zoomies to her heart’s delight and a cozy couch and dog beds where she can cuddle up but also do some lap cuddle time because she loves that, too.
If you want to smile, laugh and have high energy fun every day, Calypso is your girl! The first step is to submit an application at www.findingshelter.org.
