Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Josie! This spunky 7-8 year old chihuahua is the epidemy of adorableness. Weighing in at just over 5lbs, what she lacks in size, she more than makes up for in personality.
Always up for just about anything, Josie enjoys the company of both humans and small dogs alike. She spends her days rotating between sunbathing, playing with her “babies” (aka toys), engaging in a game of tug, going for walks, doing zoomies and putting on a show highlighting her tricks for her foster parents. She has plenty of energy, but when it’s time to relax and enjoy a cuddle, she is all for it.
Josie would do best in a home that has plenty of love and time to offer. She’s great with other small dogs, but doesn’t necessarily need another dog to keep her happy. She bonds quickly with people and insists that she receive plenty of attention, so an adopter that either works from home, can take her to work or is retired would be best for her.
This smarty pants knows several tricks (and is eager to learn more!) and her potty training is excellent when she’s kept on a consistent schedule. Overall, Josie is one heck of a gal and would make an excellent BFF to the right adopter.
If you live in Southern California and are interested in meeting Josie, visit our website and fill out our matchmaking questionnaire:

We are volunteer based and will do our best to get back to you within 72 hours. Please do not call as our phone is intended for emergencies only. If we feel that one of our dogs is a good match we will set up a private meet and greet We do not have a physical location where you can come and meet all the dogs at once, so meet and greets may take a little time to coordinate. Our requested adoption donation is $350 and all adopters are required to fill out an adoption agreement.
