Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing Gordie Howe, an adorable bully breed puppy (approximate birthdate: 11/15/22) who was found outside abandoned in a crate with brothers Sid Abel and Ted Lindsay. Gordie is a typical puppy, full of love, energy, and playfulness. He enjoys playing with toys and rough housing with his siblings and larger canine foster brothers. He also loves to be held by his humans and snuggles in for cuddle time!
While breed identification is a guess based on appearance, we feel he is a bully breed mix of some type. Therefore, we feel he will be at least 50+ pounds when fully grown, but we really don’t know for sure. Gordie seems to enjoy the company of other dogs, and we feel he would do well in a home with a doggie sibling. He would NOT do well in a home with young children as he has very sharp puppy teeth and claws and has not yet learned proper manners. He will require consistent training to become the best dog he can be.
Gordie is not yet housebroken, or crate trained, but he is micro-chipped, de-wormed, on heartworm preventative and flea medication. He is also in the process of completing his vaccinations. This puppy needs a PHYSICALLY FENCED YARD to run and romp in. No apartments or condos for this little guy please.
If you think you are a fit for this puppy, please fill out an application. This puppy will NOT be at Petsmart Adoption Events, but his foster Mom is willing to set up a meet and greet at a convenient time for both parties after the application has been received and reviewed.
Our adoption fee is $325.00 (cash or credit card) that includes a $75 spay/neuter deposit that you receive back once the puppy is spayed/neutered at 6 month old.
HOW TO APPLY: If you would like to apply for this dog or any of our other dogs, please request an application by clicking the “START YOUR INQUIRY” button.
You can also go directly to our website at www.waganimalrescue.com to fill out an application.
You must be at least 25 years old to apply.
IMPORTANT: An application must be filled out and approved before we will make special arrangements to meet a dog. A volunteer will review your application and contact you if your application is approved or if further clarification is required. We will make every attempt to contact APPROVED applicants within 5 business days of application submission (M-F), but this will depend on the number of applications received. If you do not answer all questions then your application may not be processed. WAG Animal Rescue adopts to homes that are best fits for our animals' needs, and not on a first-come, first-served basis. We are an all-volunteer organization, and regret that we do not have the resources to contact applicants that are not approved. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER. All of our animals are kept in foster homes.
