This gorgeous 8-month old is Bindi! She's a 45 pound Husky mix looking for her pawfect furever home. Her foster mama says "Bindi is such a lover and has a sweet soul!"
Bindi does well with her canine and feline foster siblings, though she does need to be fed separately. She adores her canine foster sister and enjoys playing with her, but she is still learning how to share toys and playtime should be monitored. Bindi doesn't bark much, but her Husky chatter comes out when she's playing.
Her favorite place to sleep is in her human foster brother's room. She typically sleeps on the floor or on a dog bed. He is 12 years old and she loves him. Bindi hasn't been around younger kids, but her foster mom thinks she would do just fine. She still likes to greet her humans by jumping up for love, so she might accidentally knock a small child over.
Bindi is your typical young pup - energetic, playful, and looking for guidance in basic manners/obedience. She's still working on house training, but her foster mom reports that she's almost there. She'd excel in a home with plenty of exercise for both her body and mind. She loves to play fetch! A fenced yard would be ideal since she loves to run around and play. Bindi is also a flight risk, though she's getting better at coming when called.
If you are looking for a sweet cuddle buddy, Bindi might be your girl! Her minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
