Let Max teach you how to have fun! A happy, friendly boy, he is a handsome 2 year old Hound mix who loves to be involved in daily life. Max came from a neglectful life and cannot wait to learn the life of love. He loves to zoom around the dog parks and you would never know he has a lame foot. It doesn’t slow him down at all, in fact he will motivate you to be a better person. You might save Max from shelter life, but he might just save you right back. Give this boy the life he deserves and adopt sweet Max to be yours.
(Max’s foot does not seem to cause discomfort or require medical assistance.)


Max’s adoption fee is $100.00 and this includes sterilization, first shots, and worming with an optional microchipping and registration for an additional $20.00. We have a dog park to check compatibility with existing dogs. Fill out an adoption application at heberspringshumanesociety.com. If your application is approved, a volunteer will contact you to set up a meet and greet appointment. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt A Pet. You must apply on our Heber Springs shelter website.
