Hi, I'm Roo! I'm an incredibly sweet & playful 4 month old female pug, and I'm currently up for pre-adoption. I was recently spayed and had to have umbilical hernia repair surgery, so once I'm all healed up, I'll be ready to be adopted into my furever home! I am current on all age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, have been flea and tick treated, have been on probiotics… the works! With being a puppy, I have a LOT of energy and really love to play. I love my toys, especially my stuffies and ones that squeak. I also love to play outside, but I do have to be monitored as I am a very curious girl and like to get into everything. I am also a great climber. I got my name Roo because my foster parents say I hop around (and on top off things) like a little kangaroo! My new home must have a very secure yard since I am so adventurous. I have been raised around cats and dogs and am great with all of them. I would be thrilled to be adopted into a home with another friendly, small dog for me to play with. I would also enjoy a family who is home a lot so that I get a lot of love & attention. I am crate trained and sleep through the night with no issues. I am potty trained for the most part. As long as you let me out every few hours, I don't have any accidents. I even hold it all night. It may take time for me to learn a new potty routine once I go to my new home, but I'm a very smart girl and should learn quickly! I am looking for a home within 25 miles of Goodyear as my foster parents do require potential adopters to have a homecheck done for my safety. I have so much love to give and can't wait to find my furever family!
