My story

Hello, my friends! My name is Leela, and I am a 6-month old Shepherd Mix who currently weighs 18.9 pounds. If you're looking for a happy-go-lucky pup, I'm your girl!

I absolutely love meeting new people, and dogs of all sizes. I get along so well with my canine foster sibling. Due to the fact that I get so excited I am a little jumpy. I'd probably do best in a home with children over the age of 5 years old while I'm learning to jump less. 

Speaking of learning, did I mention that I'm making such great progress becoming house trained and crate trained? I have only had a couple of accidents in my crate and only howl for the first few minutes of being in my crate. I am getting more and more comfortable with each day! 

I am such a playful and sweet girl, and I can't wait to find my forever family to share my love with!

Her minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
