My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Butterball... A sweet 10 yr old, 10 lb male Chihuahua mix. Looking at his eyebrows, our guess is that he's mixed with miniature schnauzer but could also be yorkie. Butterball has tested well with small calm dogs & cats. He is not housebroken but has done well with potty pads. He does not know how to walk on a leash, so he will need a fenced yard or puppy pen area. He was very neglected in his previous home. He is neutered, chipped & current on vaccines. He has a mild heart murmur but does not require medication. He also has a cataract in one eye that is not causing any pain. Our vet suggests leaving it alone. He has no teeth left, so he requires soft foods. Butterball is looking for a quiet retirement home without small children. He is being fostered in Harford County Md.
