Bear!

Bear was wandering a neighborhood for a bit and some residents were able to catch him. Even though he has been at the sanctuary for some time, he is still very wary of people, will approach for treats and even take them out of your hand after he gets to know you. He seems to love other dogs he has met at the sanctuary. He is very fearful of being leashed and shuts down when one is put on him. He would need a quiet, securely fenced back yard to walk in until he gains confidence with leash walking. Bear is going to be a `project pup` but hopefully in time he will become comfortable with people and can become a cherished family member.
