Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Roxy is a cute medium/small sized dog who came from Rural Georgia. She was adopted from us about 2 years ago into a semi-quiet home with one small child at the time. Since that time the family has opened their home to foster children and have a steady line of kids who come in and out of the home. Roxy has done well with kids but like any dog has some quirks and one of those is being possessive of her toys. There was an incident where she snapped at a small child in their care and they no longer feel comfortable and are unable to keep her due to their foster home status. They have asked me to rehome her and this is what she says about her personality:
She loves to be outside to guard your home. She’s great with older kids and adults. She loves all toys. She’s 30 pounds. She is housebroken. She loves to sleep with you but also crate-trained and is happy to sleep in her crate. We also let her free roam when we leave but she can also stay in her crate when you’re gone. Without toys, she’s great around other dogs. Loves to play. She wants to befriend cats but is also scared of them so she can live with them without issues. My mother-in-law has 2 cats and we’ve had Roxy there with no issues. She’s great at meeting strangers. Super friendly once she sees her owner likes them. She does bark when something including birds that come into the yard. Otherwise, she’s pretty quiet. She follows all basic commands.
