Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The coolest dude!
Forrest is needing, looking for his forever home! He has been in the shelter environment for over a year! That’s half of his life!
Forest needs a very special home, one that doesn’t come around often but can sometimes be found! He needs to be someone’s only pet, an only child. He COULD live in a home with a submissive dog but wants to be the center of attention. He could be a great resource of confidence for a dog that is lacking!
He is weary of children but loves adults.
He is easy to walk and potties great on leash each time. He will cuddle up in the bed or on the couch with you. He’s a quiet dog- doesn’t bark unless necessary (someone’s at the door). He crates easily and could be crated for a few hours at a time but definitely not a boy that would thrive with longer crate times. He will sleep in his dog bed all night long.
He will EAT blankets, toys, anything if he is bored. So that is why mental stimulation is important for this boy!! Someone that can keep tabs on him, to keep him in line and to give him all the love.
He has been in a shelter environment for more of his life. He doesn’t know any different. But in a home, he relaxes and will sleep for hours in comfort. To see his anxiety go from a 100 (boarding kennel area) to a 0 when comfortable in a home is amazing. The trouble is, we need to find HIS home.
This boy is a dream. I know his person is out there. He’s fostered in Andersonville, TN. I will personally drive him wherever he may need to go IF it is the perfect home. He deserves it. He’s been in shelter/rescue environment for most of his life. He’s a young boy, maybe 3? He’s sweet as can be and easy to please. He’s right at 60 pounds. He jumps right in the car, loves to ride and is completely house trained!! He would make the perfect on the rode passenger! Truckers are welcome!
