This young man is Shaka! Shaka was originally adopted from the NSPCA about a year ago and was recently returned due to no fault of his own. Shaka is still a young guy and has plenty of energy to show for it. Shaka would be the perfect running, hiking, anything outdoorsy kind of buddy. However, the stress of the shelter environment has gotten to him Shaka has a CCL tear that will need to heal with strict cage rest. It is almost impossible to keep him quiet in this environment. He would benefit from some training where he can learn manners and boundaries and what is acceptable behavior in a home. Luckily, he is enthusiastic, eager to please and treat motivated. Shaka has lived with young children, due to his energy levels we believe he would do better in a home with older children however he is not opposed to meeting your youngins.
