Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Quillon is a 5-year-old black tri Australian Shepherd that weighs 60 pounds. He came in to our rescue positive for heartworms but has since been through treatment and is now ready for his Furever home.
Quillon is a sweet boy and very loving to his foster parents and is happiest when he can relax with his toys and his people. He loves to go on walks and is pretty good on a leash unless he sees another dog, where he will pull but not in an aggressive way, and has never met a stranger. He also loves going for car rides.
Quillon would do best as the only dog in the home. He loves a calmer home environment where he can self-entertain, and not have to worry about sharing his toys with another dog. He actually is kind of different in he doesn't even really want to play fetch or tug of war.
Quillon's forever home should not have cats or kids because since being in a foster home, he hasn't been around either and we aren't sure how he would respond. A fenced yard of his own is recommended.
He is house trained, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives.
If you’re looking for your next best friend, Quillon is the dog for you!
