Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We got Rocky at 8 weeks old from a pure-bred Beagle breeder in Minnesota, in 2021. He is happy, playful, healthy, and wants to please. Our family is just too busy to give him the attention and exercise he needs. He is trained on Invisible Fence in our yard and does very well. (I would not like him to have to go to a tether or chain in the yard.) He sleeps in his crate at night and barks VERY minimally.
We will be picky about who Rocky goes to because we love him and he is used to tender loving care (which is just becoming too much for us). Rocky loves to play with other dogs and is very good with our 3 children.
Rocky does well at "doggy daycare" and overnight lodging when needed. He knows a handful of basic commands like sit, down, stay, wait, come (usually), shake and leave-it. He's a hound dog so he is happy to be outside sniffing things as much as he can (when it's not freezing). He's still under 2 so he still has lots of energy and also takes a few naps a day.
