Lindsay is a gentle, friendly kitty with lots of love to offer. She often greets staff and volunteers asking for attention and petting. She is also a quiet, easy-going kitty and we feel she would enjoy the same type of home. Although Lindsay gets along with the other cats in her house, she would prefer to be the “queen of the castle” in her forever home. The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
