Hi everyone, my name is ‘Boo’ and I am the newest addition to the Love A Bull Rescue family.
My story is so heartbreaking, and I am still trying to find my way. You see, I am a senior gal, approx 8 or 9 years old. My family who owned me since I was a baby, left me at the shelter because they were moving and I wasn’t welcome to come with them. After all these years, this is how I end up, after they promised to love me forever and ever.
My foster mom picked me up from the shelter and she can’t believe how gorgeous I am! Looks, personality- I have it all! I am a teeny tiny little thing, only 42 lbs!
I am in amazing shape for my age, and I was so happy to curl up in the backseat of her car and sleep the whole way home!
What made my foster mom really sad is that I have leftover hot pink toenail polish on my nails. My old family thought of me as their princess at some point.
I am having a blast in rescue! I have met my foster sister and foster brother and we do great. I would be able to co-habitate with a very calm, older neutered male dog. A younger active dog would drive me crazy. I am a sweet little lady, and like to sleep most of my days away on a nice cozy bed. My ideal home would be where I am the only pet.
Kids 8 and up would be okay too, as long as they are very respectful of dogs.
A few words that are NOT in my vocabulary are: run, hike, bike, jump or anything active! I promise to only do short, small walks at my own pace which is SUPER slow, and never to make you run or hike. I am the kind of girl who will melt your heart the minute you snuggle up with me on the couch!
Oh, and did I mention I am healthy as a horse?? My eyes are shiny and bright, my joints are strong, and I eat like there is no tomorrow!
According to my vet records, I had a mass removed from my foot 2.5 years ago. My foster mom’s vet checked out my foot and says I am still perfect!
I am still in shock that I am in rescue and that my family left me at the shelter, but I am happy to be around my foster family who truly cares about what is best for me. They are dedicated to finding me the perfect home who will love me for me, and take me with them if they move! I am so sweet, so calm, and I promise to be your very best friend.
