Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
They say good things come in small packages and that couldn't be more true for Phoenix!
She has settled into her foster home as if she has lived here her entire life. Without any hesitation, she embraced her foster family (humans and dogs) and fit in like a champ. Phoenix is currently fostered with adoptable Magic and DIBS alum Carl (both a bit bigger and a bit older than her) and she wasn't phased one bit! Her agenda with her new pals was to play, play, play! With the humans in the home, she is so affectionate and loves to come in for a hug, cuddles, and pets. When not playing with her foster brothers, she likes to watch foster mom in the kitchen. She won't beg though: she just likes to watch.
Phoenix's training has been coming along very nicely. She is quite food motivated so learning new things is a breeze for her. She is learning how to walk nicely on leash but everything is so new and exciting so it is understandable that she pulls a bit. Phoenix sleeps very well in her crate overnight and is able to nap the day away while foster mom works from home. Phoenix is house trained and she passed her cat test in Mexico with flying colours!
For Phoenix's future home, we'd love to see her with a full time and playful canine bestie! People home most of the time would be a bonus as well as a secure yard. People who are up for adventure would be a bonus as Phoenix is one curious gal!
If Phoenix sounds like the one, please check out the adoption process and application at www.dibsrescue.com. Her adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply. (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/ ).
