Story/descripción HE WAS FOUND WITH TWO PUPPIES UNDER A HIGHWAY BRIDGE. UNFORTUNATELY, ONE OF THEM TESTED POSITIVE FOR DISTEMPER AND, BECAUSE THE DISEASE WAS ALREADY VERY ADVANCED, HE DIED A FEW DAYS AFTER STARTING HIS TREATMENT. ELMER AND THE OTHER PUPPY, TITAN, WERE PLACED IN QUARANTINE AS A PREVENTIVE MEASURE. HOWEVER, ONE DAY AFTER THE END OF QUARANTINE, TITAN SHOWED DISTEMPER SYMPTOMS AND, LIKE THE FIRST PUPPY, DIED DESPITE RECEIVING TREATMENT. THIS WAS HOW ELMER BECAME THE ONLY SURVIVOR OF THIS RESCUE. We are a small group of very enthusiastic rescuers that have made it our mission to rescue as many dogs from the streets of Tijuana and Rosarito as possible without fail (sin falta). We focus on the health of the dog from first contact to that wonderful day when we introduce them to their new home and family. All dogs are sterilized prior to being placed up for adoption and we are proud of our track record of successfully socializing our dogs with other dogs, cats and kids.
