Gabbana was rescued when found living outdoors in terrible conditions at a rural trailer park about 4 months ago, and he’s still looking for an adoptive or foster-to-adopt home! He’s currently living in a temporary foster home in Columbus, OH. If you aren’t able to foster or adopt him, please share his story! This fluffy longhair grey tabby has some of the softest fur you’ll ever feel, and he is estimated to be approximately 10 months old. He LOVES other cats and is often trying to bathe and snuggle his foster siblings. So he really needs to be adopted into a home that has another cat or kitten or adopted along with another cat or kitten, like his foster brother Cartier. Gabbana is very playful, curious, gentle, sweet, and affectionate. However, he does require time to warm up to strangers, and he has a somewhat timid nature. So he needs a quiet home with an experienced cat owner. A home without young children or dogs would be best. While Gabbana seems to have had a limited amount of socialization early in life, he’s made a lot of progress since being placed in his foster home just a month ago! As you can see in the photos, Gabbana’s ear was tipped, because it was initially thought he might be feral. However, he now climbs in bed and on the couch with his foster parents. He LOVES to rub against them and be petted. Gabbana is also very clever and will use his paws like hands to reach and grab things. He immediately figured out how to guide treats through the Catit food tree, and if he gets a chance, he will even use his paws to pull treats out of a jar. He’s tried this strategy with other things too, like a can of Pringles. In his spare time, Gabbana loves to climb and explore, and he especially enjoys the cat tree at his foster home. His favorite snacks are Friskies natural treats & Churu type treats, and his favorite toy is the SmartyKat hot pursuit electronic motion cat toy. He also enjoys strings, mice, springs, and balls. Gabbana has been neutered, tested, microchipped, and vaccinated.
