Yeti once had a home and we cannot figure out how he lost his home and ended up on the streets but we are very happy to have rescued him. Yeti is extremely grateful to be rescued, he doesn't get into any trouble and he is a mellow, mild guy who just wants love.
Yeti is almost 3 years old and underweight weighing 70lbs.
Yeti can get attached to his human and really bond with them. He expresses his love and how much he missed being in a home. He is in a foster home with a 6 month old puppy and they play all the time. There is also a cat in the home and Yeti pays no attention to the cat. This guy is so mellow it is hard to explain. He is quiet but will bark to alarm you in there is someone in the backyards.
He obeys very well, knows how to sit and sometimes shakes. Sometimes Yeti can be stubborn in that he doesn't want to get up from his leisure nap or sit on command but I hear that is part of the breed.
Since he was thrown away by his previous owners and not taken care of his coat was not maintained and it matted very bad. He was shaved down but his coat will grow back beautifully. His new owners would have to brush him on a regular basis to make sure his coat is soft and not tangled and brushing him regularly prevents shedding. Yeti enjoys being brushed, it feels good to him. He is a bit underweight but on a regular good diet now and trying to regain his weight. He now weighs 70 lbs.
Yeti is looking for his new forever home that he can grow old in.
