My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Nancy is a good ole girl who is extremely maternal. She plays momma to all of the new fosters that come in even if they are bigger than her. She takes care of them all.

Although Nancy is playful with other dogs and toys she is a great dog for a retired/senior couple to have as a companion who just wants to hang out and be nosey. She loves looking out the window and checking out whatever is going on. She will follow you from room to room just observing.

Nancy only weighs 14 pounds and at 4 years old she will not grow anymore. I do not know what she is mixed with. She came from a home with 40 chihuahua's that was confiscated. But her owners must have treated her nicely because she did not come with any hang ups or problems to work on. She has been very nice and happy. It took her a week to decide to trust, she was nice and easy to handle but when she really trusted is when she became my shadow. It was about 3 weeks before she was running around playing with the other dogs.

One thing that stopped her is because she had 3 newborns with her. She is not nursing anymore, her kids are 14 weeks old and available for adoption as well. They have been in a foster home all along so they are very social, well and good temperament and happy. She likes to go in the car but again she is nosey so it is an adventure with her. She walks okay on a leash, no pulling but a little harness would be better for her.

Nancy has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, rabies and microchipped. Her medical records come with her. Thank you for looking.
