Foster Or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Kira!!
We just cannot understand how the AMAZING Kira is not in a home yet!! Kira is between 2-3 years old, dog social and ready for fun!! If you are looking for an active girl look no further! Kira loves to go on walks, hikes, play in the water, car rides, you name it she is ready! Kira is pretty good on the leash, she knows sit and wait. She is a favorite of our volunteers! Let’s get this girl into a home! Email dogs@labradorsandfriends.org or fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org Kira is located in Southern California
In the Beginning…. We rescued Kira 2/4/23, she was going to be euthanized by 2pm at the SEACCA shelter. The shelter sent a plea to us directly late Friday (2/3/23) to see if we could save her. We were told she was very sick, not responding to medications and needed immediate medical care. She had zero rescue interest and we knew we were her only hope. Much to our happy surprise, Kira is happy, healthy and not at all sick. We were expecting a dog with pneumonia. We now really need a foster for this sweet girl! (Forever home even better!) Kira is young, great with other dogs, she even encountered a small dog at the vet and just sat and wagged her tail. She is very treat motivated, loves belly rubs, knows some commands and is just an all-around amazing girl! Let’s find Kira the perfect home!!!
