My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ohio, a loving, playful cat looking for her forever home. Born in August 2022, she is full of energy and will delight you with her antics. She loves chasing her feather toys and getting pets, and will fall asleep on your lap. She is curious and affectionate and always tries to be the center of attention.

Ohio has seen her sibling and another cat who shared her foster home find their forever homes while she continues to look for a family to call her own. Ohio loves to play with other cats, even if they don’t want to play with her, so it would be ideal for her to have a home with another young, playful cat. She would, however, also do well as an only cat.

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat either virtually or in person in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
