Eclair is a shy, beautiful girl that loves attention even though she does not always show it. She is small for her age, and needs a quiet home and lots of love. She was rescued from living an outside life and now she is safe inside. She needs a slow, quiet home and lots of play time for her to learn to trust her new home. She is super sweet, and loves to play when you can get her going. If you want a truly sweet kitten with a heart of gold, and are willing to spend the time with her she needs, then give her a chance, and give her a home. Will not do well with small children. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
