Macaron is a beautiful white and grey tabby. He is a bit shy at first. But once he gets to know you and his new home, he will warm up. He is a little bit talkative, and super friendly when he gets to know you. He loves to rough house with his foster siblings, but knows when it is time to snuggle up and take a nap. He loves full body rubs and pets. This boy needs a bit of time to learn to trust his people. Are you the right home with lots of love and time. Take him home and he will give back all that he gets. Will not do well with small children. Must be adopted with a sibling, Cookie or Eclair. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
