My story

Oh, Joy! It's Joy! Joy is constantly overlooked by adopters because she's "just a plain black cat"- but trust us, she is the world's best cat! Joy loves constant attention, playing with toys and other cats, snuggling in the bed, and cozying up next to our Husky and Great Pyrenees on the couch. Joy is fine relaxing all day or playing! Whatever your lifestyle is, she's sure to fit in (as long as there is time for snuggles, that's her favorite).
One of the things (and there are many) we love about Joy is how talkative she is. If you need someone to talk to, she's there. She loves to be chatted with and makes so many cute, happy sounds when she is pet!
Joy already knows how to use a cat door- so no worries about having to train her for one!

Joy came to us emaciated and fragile, but she had such a strong will to live. When we took custody of her, she needed emergency surgery for a foreign body removal. She recovered quickly, despite her poor condition, and is now the bright, healthy, and happy kitty you see in the photos!

Applications for Joy are being accepted! Joy had a rough start to her life, so she deserves the rest of it to be spent in a relaxing, non-hostile environment where her needs will always be taken care of.

UTD on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped (lifetime free). She is also great with dogs, kids, and other cats!
