My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome South, Sister!  I'm DIXIE (DOB ~1/14/2014), a front-paw declawed female black/white tabby DSH.  I was taken to a vet's office for surrender, and the next day, the vet's office unexpectedly shut down its business.  A kind lady took me in when she heard that news, but couldn't keep me and networked to try to find placement for me.  That's how I found myself at Fancy Feline Rescue of the South.  I am an affectionate girl, beg for attention, and would love to be able to settle into a new home where I feel safe.  If you will give me the opportunity, I promise I'll provide you with love, loyalty and companionship for many years to come.  I am spayed, up-to-date with vaccines, negative for Feline FIV/FeLV, dewormed, have received flea preventative, am microchipped, and will be eligible to receive at least a 30-day trial of pet health insurance.  My adoption fee is $125.00.
