Greetings, fans! My name is RUSKIN (DOB ~4-10-2012), and I'm a Red Mackeral Tabby Exotic Shorthair. Let me tell you my story: I was perfectly happy and well cared for in the cattery where I was living. Unfortunately, the cattery owner developed Stage 4 cancer, was in hospice, and died in mid-April. CFA Breeder Assistance-Breeder Rescue Program stepped up to help me and 30+ of my cattery mates. Fancy Feline Rescue was contacted and agreed to step up and take 12 of us. After a 2-day adventure, I finally arrived at FFRS and am settling in very well. I enjoy my one-on-one attention, enjoy being petted, and will roll over for belly rubs. I need a new home with some TLC and patience – one where I can be the center of attention. Having come from a cattery, I get along well with other cats, but I don’t know how I feel about dogs because I don’t know if I have met any. Regardless, I promise I’ll provide you with years of love, loyalty, and companionship if you will give me the chance! I am neutered, up-to-date with vaccines, negative for Feline FIV/FeLV, dewormed, have received flea prevention, and will be microchipped and eligible to receive a 30-day free trial of pet health insurance at the time of my adoption. My adoption fee is $300.00.
