Oso was found stray and looked like he had never been groomed. Getting him trimmed up was an adventure but isn’t he just the cutest thing now. He loves attention, does well in leash but seems to have an aversion to being picked up which is why we are recommending no kids at this time.
The standard adoption fee is $200, but it may vary depending on the situation and the animal. This includes vetting such as shots, spaying or neutering, microchipping, deworming, and heartworm testing if the animal is over six months of age.
Please note**** We are a volunteer organization. Adoption events are held every Saturday 10-2 at our facility located st 2049 Badin Rd. Most of our animals are in foster homes. Please contact the foster if you would like to meet one of our rescues.
You may complete an application for approval to start the adoption process at www.stanlycountyhumanesociety.org, under the 'Adoption' tab.
Thanks for considering adopting a rescue pet!
