My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

On social media, a red Doberman was advertised as being given away or would be euthanized by her owner if someone didn't take her ASAP. The rescue tried to contact the owner, but someone picked her up before we could reach her. That same red Doberman was being given away on social media the very next day! Our volunteers sprang into action and brought her securely to us. Additionally, we were successful in removing a second dog that the same owner was also giving away or euthanizing (Hello Flower). Being fostered together, the two housemates are overjoyed to be reunited.
Rolo, as she was being called, really fit her name because she is 40lbs overweight, she also has severe fur loss on her back as well as some scar evidence from old traumatic experiences. While the owner claimed she was only 2 years old, doing research with her microchip come to find out she is a senior!

It goes without saying that we have changed Rolo’s name to Sage as she is starting a new life.
Sage is a lovely girl who is full of love for everyone she encounters.
Sage is following a stringent diet and workout regimen, be aware that losing excess weight will take some time. Hoping that with a good diet her fur will grow back soon.
