Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Malachi! He is approximately 3 years old, 60 pounds and came to us from a local shelter.
He is the bestest boy! He loves walks and is very good on the leash. He enjoys treats and takes them very gently. Malachi is crate trained and house broken.
Malachi's favorite thing is to cuddle on the couch and be loved. He absolutely loves to be the center of attention. He also loves to play fetch, will gently take toys from your hand, loves snacks of all kinds and is a great Work from Home buddy. He has the cutest bunny hop when he gets excited...he just can't contain himself!! He gives the best kisses and snuggles, too!! He is such a happy boy and super easy.
He does have a high prey drive and is not a fan of cats. He is a bit unsure of other dogs but shows signs of wanting to play with his foster siblings. He has a rough play style so he would do best with a dog that has the same style but won't get mad if he doesn't stop right away.
Malachi is just about the softest dog we have. He is such a good boy who is very deserving of his home! He does not do well with the energy of children so will need teenagers or no kids at all.
Here's some fun facts from his foster mom:
His favorite things are:
*His pink Ruff Dawg ball
*Going on walk-abouts
*Snuggling on the couch
*Rolling around in the grass and being silly
*Naps
*Snacks
*Learning new things
*Sitting outside and enjoying the sun
*Chasing birds and flying raisins (flies and bees)
*Being one of my WFH buddies
*Tearing up cardboard boxes (helps to release his natural need to end the prey drive)
His least favorite things:
*Strangers in his home (lots of slow intros needed and intros outside are best)
*Kids under 12...their energy is too much for him
*Not being where you are (but doesn't have separation anxiety)
*Small animals that like to run from him...he thinks it's time to chase (no cats or little dogs for this guy... He does best with female dogs his size).
