My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Riley is a beautiful eight year old yorkshire terrier. He has an outstanding temperament and is very well behaved. Riley was surrendered by his owner as he was no longer able to care for him. Riley will do best in a home with an older couple and no small children daily. He does get along with children and other dogs. Riley has been neutered, is up to date on all of his shots and has had a dental to show off his beautiful pearly whites! We do not make money on the yorkies we adopt to new families, we use whatever remaining money we have to help other yorkies in need. NC Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a small group of dedicated and sincere yorkie lovers. We take all yorkies, regardless of age or health issues. We are in the process of applying for our 501(c)(3) and are a non-profit group. A home visit may be performed before the adoption is approved and an adoption application must be submitted and approved as well. All of our yorkies come with complimentary training sessions, either by a personal visit to the office or a telephone consultation, to help their transition into their new home.
