Cassandra is a 44 lb. 2-year-old, black female Labrador-Boxer mix. She is spayed, has all current vaccinations, is HW negative and is on monthly HW preventative as well as flea/tick/worm meds. She gets along well with children and other dogs (I don't have cats, but on our walks, she passes cats by with a bored look on her face). Cassandra's playful and settles down quickly, and could easily be a running buddy in the morning and a couch potato in the afternoon, laying on your lap watching movies. Cassandra loves the dog park and jumping into the pond to get a ball. She also loves getting a bath and being blowdried. She walks well on a leash, doesn't bark much, eats in her crate and will stay in it when she has to, but enjoys being out. Cassandra loves her squeaky toys and real bones, and eats her dry dog food without the fuss of mixing in wet food. She knows the seven basic commands: Sit, stay, down, heel, off, come, and no. She also knows "no" and "okay", and is 99% trained to not door-dash. She has been sleeping at the head of my bed on her own pillow, between mine and the padded headboard, but could easily be taught to sleep wherever she's told. She's loveable and tender, and just needs a family, a purpose, and a place to call home! ??
