This handsome boy is Oakland, a 5-month-old Shepherd/Pit Bull mix who weighs about 24 pounds. Oakland's a real sweetheart who loves cuddling, long walks, playing with other dogs, chewing (bones, antlers, rope toys), and meeting new people.

Oakland is a typical puppy with the characteristic puppy energy. He should do well with kids but, given his puppy enthusiasm and the fact that he's still working on learning his manners, he could be a bit much for very small children. He'd be a great fit for an active family...play time in the yard, fun walks or hikes, or just snuggling on the couch. Oakland is very smart! He already knows "sit" and is working on mastering "down." He is crate trained and is nearly potty trained.
