Walker! DOB:1/2019 Weight: 60lbs
Walker, the Treeing Walker Coonhound is all ready to go to his new home! True to his breed, this handsome man always has his nose to the ground or is looking around and checking things out. Oftentimes he’ll point towards things and start baying like crazy. He WILL follow his nose if you let him and he loves a good chase. Walker needs a fairly active family that can get him physical exercise through the weeks. He’s very sweet, food motivated. Knows how to sit and takes treats nicely. No aggression issues. He is partly house trained but needs to get on a schedule and go out often at first. Rides well in the car. He’s wonderful with people, but prefers to live as a solo pet.
His adoption fee is $175. That helps us to cover worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip. We offer a 2-3 week trial. If for some reason it does not work out, you’ll be refunded $100 of your fee. If interested in adopting him please fill out an application on our NEW website. https://www.newliferescues.org . If you have issues, send us a message through our Facebook. Came to the shelter 1/2023.
