Here's what the humans have to say about me:

TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME! This handsome boy is Ralph, a 73 pound, 4 year old Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever/Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier mix (DNA results). Ralph is absolutely stunning and is a very loyal dog. He listens well, knows quite a few commands, and is completely housebroken. Ralph was recently an attendee at a local baseball game and did great with everyone he met, remaining calm and relaxed. He is such a great dog! Ralph loves to romp around outside, take treks through the woods exploring, and playing with his foster fur mates. He absolutely loves people and kids and is content to lay with them as the kids read a book to him.

Ralph is the king of his castle so he'd be best as the only dog in the home, but he LOVES to have play dates with other doggie friends. Ralph would make a wonderful companion for someone who likes to run and or hike, and is home more often than not. He is just an all-around great dog.

Ralph has been examined by our veterinarians, provided inoculations, been tested for diseases and worms, been neutered, and microchipped. Adult dogs are fully vetted at the time of adoption. That includes examination by licensed veterinarian, neuter/spay, and inoculations against Rabies, Distemper, and Leptospirosis. In addition, the dogs have been dewormed, tested for Heartworm Disease and tick diseases then placed on monthly preventative, plus microchipped. ADOPTION FEE: $400*

The application and potential adoption process takes approximately one week to complete, depending on everyone's schedule and availability.

Meeting a dog is done by appointment after an application has been submitted and an interview has been completed by one of our Adoption Counselors.

More about this rescue

A Caring Place, is an All Breed Dog Rescue organization that is exclusively foster based (no facility) and is volunteer run. We rescue dogs and puppies from animal control facilities, dog pounds, and other shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia. In addition we take in dogs surrendered by their owners who can or are no longer willing to care for their dog. Each dog this rescue takes in receives all medical care and treatment necessary to be healthy, and then place them into loving temporary homes (foster homes) until adopted. Without our foster care provider's, we could not save these dogs.
