Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
He ain’t nothing but a… hound dog!
Meet Huck, an 8 year old hound mix who is 60 pounds, but a gentle giant! He was saved from the city euthanasia list by a special volunteer who fell in love with his droopy face, giant paws and floopy ears. In fact, everyone who has spent time with Huck has fallen in love – from shelter volunteers, to his foster in Texas to his foster family in New York City! He is a bit shy at first, but give him some time to open up and he becomes the cuddliest lap dog. He loves to snuggle, ask for pets, follow you around and look deeply into your eyes. He has the best smile in the world and very politely sits and gives paw when he wants attention (or treats!).
Huck came to us with a foreign body in his stomach that a vet has examined and advised we leave. He has arthritis and an inoperable dislocated hip so he would do better in a calm, less active household without a lot of stairs. He is dog-friendly, loves stuffed animals and prefers to snuggle on fuzzy blankets that smell like his hoomans. He does great alone at home when his foster parents are at work, without crying or barking, and can make himself comfortable in smaller apartments or bigger homes.
You won’t be cryin all the time with this hound dog! Email info@joyrides.org for more information!
