My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Paisley is the Mom to 7 pups that came in with social problems. Most of the pups have been rehabilitated and Paisley has made lots of progress being social. We took them to save their lives. Paisley has been easier to rehabilitate than some of the pups. Paisley is now walking on a leash and displaying her desire to be social. To the right family/home, she will be a great dog.. She still has some fears but never has had any aggression and taking a dog like this, is very rewarding to see their progress. Being in a home, makes the challenges even easier! She might be best as an only dog but we always invite a meet and greet with the whole family if you have a dog. Children over 8 is suggested.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We have a simple contract ensuring that our rescue will be well taken care of, medically and physically, will never be tied or chained, and that a secure fenced area is provided for outdoor play. We want for each a loving home and to become part of a family. Every animal is up to date on shots and spay/neuter is required.

Go meet their pets

We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Weekends are preferred. Come see our waggin' tails and happy faces on 22 acres with large runs and a 5 acre play area. Email to ask for directions and to make an appt.

More about this shelter

We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..
