Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Louisa was semi-feral when she came in and takes a while to warm up to you. She has been one of our favorite challenges. Every time we get to pet her, hold her, love her, it's all a reward that she treats us with. At one point we would have to go outside everyday to put eyes on her, now, she sleeps inside more often than not! We have had her about a year and a half and she gets along with all the other cats and loves to be inside/outside in our cat room. Once she accepts you, she will purr while you pet her, she will make sure she gets all the pets she can. Louisa would be a great barn cat, as being outdoors doesn't bother her. Just be sure to give her acknowledgement for all her hard work!
All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines & started on Flea Preventatives. Cats are tested for FIV/FELK. Dogs over 6 months are tested for heartworms and started on HW prevention.
Open hours are 12PM - 4PM Tuesday -Friday and 12PM-3PM on Saturdays or by appointment.
We suggest calling prior to visiting our adoption center to ensure the animal you wish to meet is here at our Center (some are in foster care) and still available. If you want to meet an animal that is being fostered an approved application & appointment is required.
We will call or email you the status of your application once it is processed. Nothing will be processed on Sundays or Mondays.
All our pets are posted online and we continue to take applications until they are actually adopted. Sometimes things change and an adoption may fall through so we maintain a wait list.
