Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Kayla! ✨️ in Pawtucket!
Kayla is a very sweet, enthusiastic ~3 year old Aussie, weighing in at about 60 lbs (though could lose a couple!) She is spayed, UTD on shots, and on preventatives.
Her favorite things include hanging out with her people, long walks, and food! She knows sit, stay, and shake already and is very motivated to learn more. Anything for a treat!
Kayla is fully house trained (hasn't had a single accident in her foster home!) and is working on crate training. She sleeps through the night quietly in a crate but is also a really good girl when free. She can be loud in the crate when left home alone so no apartments, please! She'll need a patient adopter to continue working on her crating.
She is good with other dogs and currently living with two large males and doing fine. She does like to run and play so would likely do well with a playmate or two. She can be pushy about her play sometimes. She is still learning not to jump when excited so would probably do best with older kids. Kayla is also good with dog savvy cats and is even doing well with her fosters guinea pigs!
Kayla absolutely loves hiking and adventures. She'd love an adopter who has an active lifestyle. However, she's still learning not to pull on her leash. She's making progress but will need a dedicated adopter to continue with her training in her new home.
This sweet girl is definitely ready for her forever home. Could that be you? If you think this beautiful lady is a fit for your family, please fill out the application:

There is an additional $150 transport fee as she was rescued in Texas and professionally transported to New England to find her furever home.
All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
