Meet Heather!
This adorable little lady was rescued from the streets of Tijuana with a litter of puppies who are now adopted.

Heather has been adjusting to her new life in the States as a single girl without her pups and is LOVING it! She has such a profound appreciation for the fosters she's been with and does so well in a home.

Heather is potty trained, crate trained, and walks politely on leash!
She can be timid around new dogs, but we saw her really come out of her shell at our last adoption event! This cutie met so many other dogs in the rescue and not only did she do great, she helped other dogs come out of their shell also! She is such a gentle soul and made great friends with other calm pups of all sizes and ages.
Heather has not been in a foster home with a cat, but we think due to her calm nature, she could do well with a slow introduction to a cat that's familiar with dogs/a cat that is gentle with her.

Heather is fabulous with children! She is shy at first with new people, so we think she would do best in a home with kids that are older or are familiar with respecting a dog's space so she can get comfortable.

Heather's dream seems to be a quiet home where she can feel safe and snuggle up to her forever owners. She is always up for a hike or walk, but loves companionship above all other things.
