Onyx and his sisters were rescued from a bad situation with a backyard breeder. He came back to rescue as a big boy 80lbs that wasnt socialized as a puppy. His name is now Teddy and this is what he has to say:

Hi there, I'm Teddy! I'm a young chap with a heart full of love. I'm sweet, a little goofy, and smart too. I love playing games, especially when there's a treat at the end. My energy is contagious, I promise to make our home lively and fun. I'm also very respectful. I understand boundaries and I'm eager to learn more. I'm loyal, once I give my heart, it's forever. I'm not just looking for a home, I'm looking for that special person to love with my whole heart. I promise to be your best friend, your confidant, and your loyal companion. I can sometimes be choosy about my friends. For example, I like my fur friends to have short hair like mine. So, why should you adopt me? Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

If you find a dog you are interested in there will be a link to the adoption application. Once completed a volunteer will contact you.

2.
Interview

You will receive an email asking additional questions. The adoption advocate will research homeownership, vet, pet policies.

3.
Approve Application

Once the application is approved you will receive an email asking you about setting up a meet.

4.
Meet the Pet

You will meet the dog and if everything goes well, we will then go about finalizing the adoption.

Sign Adoption Contract

About
Animal Advocates is a ffoster based rescue whose purpose is to secure animals from local high kill shelters, euthanasia lists, as well as intervening when an individual is no longer able to care for animals in their possession.

To save those we can, when we can, as often as we can...one paw, one hand, one voice.

Company Overview
We have no "kenneled" facility that houses our animals. We have dedicated fosters who incorporate these animals into their families. This dynamic allows us to fully evaluate the animals in a variety if settings to ready them for their forever homes.

Description
We educate the public regarding the importance of spay, neuter programs and provide low cost alternatives to basic veterinary care. Behavioral and nutritional information is also addressed...we always encourage to adopt..not shop. When possible we assist families by providing information that with effort will allow them to keep these gentle souls and retain their pets.

We have foster homes in Seminole, Orange, Volusia, Brevard, Lake and Osceola counties.

General Information
All of the animals available for adoption have been spayed/neutered and micro chipped, all have current vaccines including rabies (if old enough). They are maintained on both flea had heart worm preventative. Any medical as well as behavioral issues have been addressed and are fully disclosed before the time of adoption.
