Lexi was surrendered when her family experienced a break up. She LOVES, LOVES, LOVES children. (over 5 please)
She's quite the diva, who prefers to potty in the warmth and comfort of the home (on a pee pad) instead of being forced outside. (TAKE HER ANYWAY!) She does experience 'excited incontinence' and will leak a little tee-tee in anticipation of being picked up.
She is initially fearful of adults, but warms up once she trusts.
She was NEVER fearful or mistrustful of the foster's 7 year old. (boy child)
Lexi's ideal home will have a full time STAY AT HOME parent with at least 1 (school aged) child (5-9ish?), A fenced yard and a willing 'walker'
Lexi wants to sleep in the bed with your child. If that's a deal breaker for you, it's a deal breaker for us. THIS IS WHAT SHE NEEDS.
Lexi does NOT like the crate. Her family must not plan to crate her as a matter of routine. She's been well loved and vetted. No medical concerns. Her reaction to cats is UNKNOWN.
