PLEASE scroll down and read the ENTIRE BIO. It is lengthy but has ALL INFO we know. Emailing and asking for more info is only going to hold up your process and risk your chances of the dog you want being gone. NELLY is in SALEM, Ohio. SHE is fully vetted including spay/microchip/rabies/Bordetella/parvo distemper vaccine/worming/heartworm lyme test/heartworm-flea prevent while at the shelter. We do not ship dogs, we do not transport dogs, we do not hold dogs. You must be ready to adopt within 72 hours upon approval.
FULLY VETTED ADOPTION FEE is: $150
** PLEASE NOTE: Since we are a shelter, the majority of our dogs have not had the luxury of a foster home. As a result, what we post in reference to their behavior, temperament, likes/dislikes etc is only what we witness here and not in a home atmosphere. ALSO, the breed mix posted is simply a GUESS on our part, we DO NOT do DNA testing.

What a ride it's been!! I was found by kind folks as I was wandering all alone, they then called the pound who came and got me, after that some great folks from the shelter came and pulled me outta the pound. I was then sent immediately into a foster home where it was discovered that I had something called pseudomonas which is a giant (and hard to pronounce) word for a really really horrible and painful ear infection!!!! A great vet got me on some good drugs and voila....I'm all better!! Now you may have noticed that I am a bit on the "mature" side but lemme tell you, I do not let that slow me down!! I am currently being fostered with 3 other dogs and we do fine together. So I would fit into a home with or without other canines. I LOVE to play with toys/balls. You would be totally impressed to see me toss a toy up in the air and catch it all on my own!! I am not much for car rides as I am more of a homebody. Kids?? Love them!! Actually, any size/age/gender of humans are great with me as long as they are "cuddlable". Love me some snuggle time. I have a couple bum knees which were never addressed by whoever my previous owner was. No surprise there, given the negligence of my ear issue. But again, it doesn't faze me! My foster mom calls me a "tough ole broad"!! I would love a home that can supply me with a couple walks a day, lots of toys and an ample amount of cuddle time!! My potty habits are stellar but keep in mind that a new home will mean a new schedule so consistency will be key. Foster dad says that | am a comedian and keep him in "stitches" with my playful antics...so it would be good if my new owner(s) have a great sense of humor!
