My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cacao is a sweet, loving beauty. Born in June of 2022, she weighs about 60 lbs. Cacao loves to run and play with her canine buddies, especially her brother, Macchiato. She walks well on a leash and rides fine in the car. Cacao loves people and is eager to spend her time with you. She could be the princess in your kingdom if you welcome her into your life.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
