My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweetie / DOB est May 2021, 70 pounds / Pit bull, Rottweiler Mix

Sweetie truly lives up to her name.  She is so full of love and affectioin.  Warms the hearts of all the people she meets with her big smile and wagging tail.  She loves to swim, play fetch, cuddle, and car rides.  She is great with all humans; however, she needs to be the only pet.  Sweetie has been through training and is very well behaved.  She is looking for a foster as well as her forever home with a fenced yard.  She is a big girl approximately 70 pounds..

If you're interested in meeting this pup, please fill out an adoption application at aylasacres.org.

Additional adoption info

We don't have a facility, so we screen applicants thoroughly before we set up a meet and greet. We conduct a vet check, reference check and a home check. We typical set up the meet at the adoptive home so the home check can be completed at the same time. If both parties agree the pup is a good fit we complete the adoption agreement and accept the adoption fee.

More about this rescue

We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.
